Heat pump Thermatec - Golden Pillar of Construction
We received the Golden Pillar of Construction Award for the Thermatec Heat Pumps - R290 Series (020/040/060) at the 60th International Building Trade Fair "FALL 2022" and the 24th Heating Technology and Energy Saving Trade Fair "INSTAL-SYSTEM 2022".
The trade fair showcased the latest technologies from leading manufacturers. It was the largest autumn event in southern Poland for the heating and installation industry, a place for presenting new trends and exchanging experiences among installers. The main theme of the fair was "Building Modern". The goal of the meeting was to promote innovative construction solutions, as well as all actions aimed at shaping a healthy and friendly housing infrastructure and functional social space.
Thermatec air-to-water heat pumps combine all modern elements. The anti-corrosive, matte, black housing made of ASA material looks elegant. In addition, the highest energy efficiency class A+++, both for heating temperatures of 35°C and 55°C, full DC inverter technology, advanced noise reduction, are just some of the advantages of these powerful heat pumps, which were appreciated by this year's jury.
R290 refrigerant used in the award-winning THERMATEC heat pump
The environmentally friendly R290 refrigerant, also known as propane, is a refrigerant with particularly good thermodynamic properties. It consists of hydrocarbons that occur naturally in nature. It is not an artificially produced technical gas, so no F-GAS authorization is required for the installation of devices with R290 refrigerant. What are its advantages? First of all, it is environmentally friendly, as it does not destroy the Earth's ozone layer. R290 also has a very low potential for creating the greenhouse effect. To measure this impact, the European Commission introduced the GWP (Global Warming Potential) parameter, which for the R290 refrigerant (used in Thermatec heat pumps) is equal to 3. To illustrate the factors commonly used in other pumps, the R32 refrigerant has a GWP of 675, and the R410A refrigerant has a GWP of 2088. This huge difference means that ultimately, only natural refrigerants such as R290 or CO2 will be allowed to be used in EU countries.
The Golden Pillar of Construction is a huge distinction for Home Star sp. z o.o. - the owner of the THERMATEC brand - and is an award given to companies participating in the International Construction Fair in Bielsko-Biała for over 25 years. It is a highly valued and prestigious award in the country, highlighting and crediting the quality of the awarded product, which is the Thermatec heat pump series.
